I am a filmmaker with a PhD in Art History, and my work has been shown at museums (Louvre or Reina Sofía), universities and research centers (New York University, Bard College, CSIC in Spain), and also at art galleries, cultural centers and film festivals all over the world. Since 2016 I have also created expositive projects of expanded cinema, crossing sculpture and moving image with sculptor Jeanne de Petriconi.

I have worked as a film programmer in Spain for the Punto de Vista and Documenta Madrid film festivals, and curated film programs for institutions such as the Reina Sofía Museum, Madrid's Círculo de Bellas Artes, or the Filmoteca of Catalunya. I have been an external advisor for the Modern Art Museum of Mexico, during the conception of the "Cineplástica" exhibition (2015-16) and have taught cinema workshops in Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico and Spain. For a decade I have been publishing scientific papers and contributions to national and international journals and books.

My first book, a decade-long research on the relation between cinema and the arts was published in november 2019, entitled "El cine sobre arte. De la dramatización de la pintura al cine-ensayo" (The Film On Art: From the Dramatization of Painting to Essay Film)
